LEARNING OUTCOMES ACHIEVED:

In doing this activity I was able to attain or learn to use primitive drawing tools like rectangle and oval tools to draw basic shapes, work with Object Drawing mode and object snapping and sculpt  artwork using selection tools.

Drawing with the Brush Tool

The Paint Brush tool, unlike the existing Brush tool, is based on strokes. You can draw stylized brush strokes with the Paint brush tool by dragging the pattern of the selected art brush along the drawn path. You can add brush strokes to existing paths, draw a path and add a brush stroke at the same time with the Paintbrush tool, or customize the smoothening output of your image.

This blog will show you some of the enhancements to the Brush Tool including brush sizes, presets, and sub-selections and teach you to draw a character using the brush tool of the Adobe Animate.

Here are the following steps to draw with the brush tool in Adobe Animate:

STEP 1- The first thing you do is to open the Adobe Animate in your PC.

STEP 2- Then you can insert or paste in the layer section a character you wanted to draw.

STEP 3- Using the line tool, you can follow or trace the character you wanted draw, but you must consider the stroke size, color which can be found in the properties panel and select the size and color option respectively. Then it requires to modify and curve the line then you can click the selection tool to do this step.

STEP 4- After tracing the character, delete the original image that serve as your guide where it shows a thin outline along the shape regions according to the layer color.

STEP 5-  Then you can choose the classic brush tool. Then in the properties panel in the tool option select the brush mode and paint behind to color your character.

In doing this activity I was able to attain or learn to use the Brush tool to draw artwork, explore the Brush tool options, work with Object Drawing mode and experiment with applying different paint options.

DRAWING WITH THE LINE TOOL

The drawing above which is the bridge was created using the line tool in Adobe Animate. In order to create such, you must remember the following:

    • -          Then if it requires to tilt or curve, you can select the selection tool and then you can tilt it.
    • -          You can draw art and pattern strokes with variable width by applying pressure or tilting the stylus. To fine-tune the width points even further, use the Width tool.
    • -          If you wish to add background from the internet or from your computer, then you can add it but make sure that your main character or layer is must be send it front by doing the right click then choose arrange and select bring front.

LEARNING OUTCOMES ACHIEVED:

In doing this activity I was able to attain or learn to use line tool to draw an artwork, discover more about the line tool especially in modifying its size, width and scale and able to use the width tool to add variable of the width, and enhancing strokes and shape.
